Limited In-Home Boarding

Boarding at Best in Cheneaux is intentionally limited to two guest dogs at a time. Dogs are integrated into my home environment with structured supervision and daily routines.

Guest dogs may sleep in a crate, on a dog bed, or in designated household spaces depending on owner preference and the dog’s comfort.

Intact dogs are accepted on a case-by-case basis.

Meet & Greet Requirement

All new boarding clients must complete a Boarding Assessment Visit prior to scheduling overnight stays.

This visit ensures compatibility with my household dogs and confirms that your dog is comfortable in a structured, shared home environment.

Boarding Rates

Standard Rate:
$85 per night

Local Resident Rate (Mackinac & Chippewa County):
$75 per night

Up to 2 dogs per household may be boarded at a time.

Additional household dogs may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

No holiday surcharge.

Boarding Includes

  • Structured daily routine

  • Supervised outdoor time

  • Feeding per instructions

  • Medication administration

  • Daily updates and photos

Looking Ahead

Best in Cheneaux is currently a limited-capacity home-integrated boarding program. Plans are in place to expand into a dedicated kennel facility offering additional accommodations and structured daycare options.

The standards remain the same: controlled capacity, thoughtful care, and professional oversight.
